Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the most common questions about training, sessions and what to expect when working with Molly. If you need anything not covered here, you’re always welcome to get in touch.
Where are you located?
I offer a mobile training service across Bayside, Glen Eira, Kingston and surrounding areas. Suburbs include Beaumaris, Black Rock, Brighton, Cheltenham, Hampton, Highett, Sandringham, Bentleigh, Caulfield, Murrumbeena, Elwood, St Kilda, Mentone, Mordialloc, Parkdale and more.
What are your qualifications?
I hold a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training (NDTF), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Pet First Aid, Dog First Aid and multiple specialist workshops, webinars and behaviour courses. I am also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
Do you train all breeds and ages?
Yes. I work with all breeds and all ages — from 8-week-old puppies to adult dogs with more complex behaviours.
How does your training work?
Each session begins with an assessment of your dog’s behaviour and environment. From there, I create a personalised training plan and guide you through practical skills you can use in daily life. Sessions include one-on-one coaching and ongoing support.
How do I book a session?
You can book online, submit an enquiry through the website or contact me directly via phone or email. Once your session is confirmed, I’ll send you a short intake form to learn more about your dog.
How long are the training sessions?
Most private sessions run for around 60 minutes. Behaviour consultations may run longer depending on assessment and planning.
How many sessions will my dog need?
It depends on your dog’s needs and your goals. Puppies sometimes progress quickly in one or two sessions. More complex or long-term behaviour concerns may require a series of visits and ongoing support.
Do you offer training packages or follow-up support?
Yes. I offer package options for multiple sessions, and I provide support between visits via email or phone to help you stay on track.
